Hey guys, can someone help me understand how to solve this simultaneous equation using the substitution method? I keep getting stuck on step 2.

Isolate 'x' in the first equation so you get x = 5 - 2y. Then substitute (5 - 2y) wherever you see 'x' in the second equation. Let me know if that helps!
